This site offers a free fair-split (split-bills-by-income) calculator and an early-access waitlist for FairSplit, a couples app in development. We keep data collection minimal. This page explains exactly what we collect and why.

What we collect

Your incomes and bills stay in your browser. The amounts and names you type into the calculator are used to show your split on your device and are not sent to or stored on our servers. We never connect to your bank, see your balances, or move money.
Anonymous usage events. We record that pages and the calculator were used (e.g. page view, calculation completed, a button clicked), together with a random browser ID stored in your browser, a one-way hashed version of your IP address, and your browser type. We use these only to measure interest and to filter out bot/duplicate traffic. The hashed IP cannot be turned back into your IP address, and these events never include the incomes or bill amounts you entered.
Your email — only if you give it. If you join the early-access list, we store the email address you submit so we can tell you when the app launches.

How we use it

To gauge interest in the product, to prevent abuse, and — if you joined the list — to email you about the launch. We do not use it for anything else.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. Data is processed on Cloudflare's platform, which hosts this site. We don't share your email with third parties for their own marketing.

Retention & your choices

We keep waitlist emails only as long as needed to contact you about the product, and usage events only as long as needed to evaluate interest. You can ask us to delete your email or any data associated with you at any time — just email [email protected] and we'll remove it.
